The Buddha is a deity and a Way; however, an individual's causes and conditions span countless lifetimes and are immeasurable. Sometimes, they do not manifest, and even the Buddha cannot purify the causes of diseases. The true resolution of the causes of illness lies in the patient's single thought returning to the Way; once they enter the primordial, all postnatal causes and conditions dissolve. It's like a person falling into the sea; am I to filter the sea water to save them, or let them rise above the water, ascending to the heavens? Sometimes, I truly do not know how to express it more clearly.
